Network-attached application & storage server
Built to run without a cloud account. Fully offline if you want it, or online without ever opening a port on your router.
Why Smritimegh exists
Every application — files, photos, video, office, chat — runs on hardware you own, on your network. Nothing is silently mirrored to a vendor's cloud.
Remote access runs over a Headscale-based mesh. Authentication, routing, and access control never leave your own infrastructure.
OpenZFS checksums every block, self-heals silent corruption, and snapshots instantly — so "backed up" actually means recoverable.
Operating modes
Both modes run the identical application suite. Nothing is held back offline.
Security architecture
Every connection is authenticated at the edge. There's no dependency on an external cloud relay for routing or access decisions — the attack surface stays yours to control.
Disk and storage-level encryption is available with AES by default. Encrypted data stays unreadable to anything without the matching keys, including us.
Continuous checksum verification catches silent data corruption before it spreads, with instant snapshots and flexible RAID protection underneath.
NVMe drives are watched continuously, with early warning before a drive approaches failure — so redundancy is backed by foresight, not luck.
Application suite
Pre-integrated, open-source, and auditable — with an app store for anything more.
